Golden Temple

Jallianwala Bagh
The most holy and revered destination for Sikh religion, Amritsar, is also a popular name in the chapters of Indian history. While talking about Amritsar’s history, the first thing we can recollect is the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre of 1919 that brutally killed around 1,000 civilians.
The Partition Museum
The Partition Museum is a public museum located in the town hall in Amritsar, India. The museum aims to become the central repository of stories, materials, and documents related to the post-partition riots that followed the division of British India into two independent countries: India and Pakistan.
Wagah Border
There is daily flag raising and lowering ceremony at Wagah Border, which is done with pomp and ceremony. It involves some of the tallest members of the Indian Border Force and the Pakistani Rangers marching and closing the many gates. It has become a tradition for people from both sides of the border gather and see this. Both sides synchronize their parade and the entire event is meant to create a feel-good/patriotic fervor amongst the crowd. It is called the beating retreat ceremony.
Day 1: Local Sightseeing
Pick up from airport/railway station and transfer to the hotel. Later at 3 pm start for the tour to Wagah Border to witness the flag-lowering ceremony being conducted by Indian and Pakistani border guards, The time of the ceremony varies according to the seasonal change. The ceremony starts there at 5 pm it is half an hour’s ceremony. you would be back to the city by 7 pm then you can have dinner at the famous eating point in the city, later visit Golden Temple just to see it at night, later back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: Heritage Walk & Departure
After breakfast start for customized Heritage walk tour and later Visit Golden Temple, Jallianwala Bagh which is massacre place where British Officer Gen Dyer ordered his men to open fire on the innocents and killed more-then 400 people. Later visit partition museum which is the only museum in the world of its kind which tells you the story of the tragedy of 1947, later you can go for shopping and Lunch followed by drop off at airport or railway station.
