In this day trip to Fatehpur Sikri and Bharatpur from Agra, we will see two prominent touristic attractions nearby. Fatehpur Sikri which was constructed by Mughal Emperor Akbar remained the commercial capital between 1571 to 1585 and then abandoned  due to scarcity of water.  A walled city with many palaces and monuments; it’s also a World Heritage Monument by UNESCO. Later in the day, visit the world-famous Keoladeo National Park, former hunting grounds of the royal family of Bharatpur.

The National Park is an hour’s drive from Agra, great for families and kids as you can rent bicycles or rickshaws to explore the Park. The park spans in an area of 29 square kms and is home to 5 species of lizards, 365 bird species, 376 floral species, 7 turtle species, 13 species of snakes, 40 species of fish.
