Luxury Small Group India Tours, Guided Private Trips & Escorted Travel

Back in 2013, I started receiving more and more requests from readers of this blog to organize trips to various regions of India based on my own experiences and insights.

I created this blog, with the hope that I might inspire others to experience some of the things I’ve been fortunate enough to see and do and show you how you can do them too!

My aim was to offer something a bit different than the other tours out there. My tours would be laid-back, adventurous and fun flash-packing trips mixed with immersive cultural experiences.

The idea quickly formed into a plan and before I knew it, I was on the banks of River Ganges in Varanasi leading my first tour through India.

And that’s how Travel Genes Tours began.

What started off in 2013 with just a Food Walk in Agra, quickly became day tours in 2014 and escorted luxury small group India tours in 2015… and now I’ll be offering a mix of walks, day tours, luxury private tours & escorted small group trips, with new destinations and itineraries being added every year.

The tours are designed to give you a good insight into the essence of India, showing you every day India, my India (the one you don’t see in the media or on fancy travel magazines). The tours have the feel of an independent trip, but without the hassle of having to find accommodation, working out how to get from A to B and booking all your own activities – I sort out all those bits, you just get cracking on having an amazing experience. At the same, they bring people together as a group, to avoid the inevitable loneliness that you sometimes face travelling and also to share the costs.

If you’d like to know more about Travel Genes Tours, the destinations, itineraries and the unique style of these laid-back, small-group or private luxury trips, I invite you to have a look at my tours website:
